Third Retail Location for Leading Operator to Offer Premier Customer Experience 

BOSTON (August 23, 2019) – DraftKings Inc. and del Lago Resort & Casino announced today the opening of the DraftKings Sportsbook at del Lago, the company’s third retail sportsbook location in the U.S. The 6,000 square-foot space will offer sports fans a state of the art and innovative, high-tech retail sports betting experience complete with betting kiosks and LED video screens.

The new DraftKings Sportsbook at del Lago, located on the casino floor near the entrance to The Vine Showroom, features state-of-the-art technology that will enhance the overall betting experience. Sporting events will be shown live, across more than 1,000 square feet of LED video screens, including 16 single bay TV sets, odds boards and a scrolling ticker that will show live score updates, stats, injury news and additional player information. Furthermore, the space will include a full-service bar and restaurant with menu options that feature appetizers ranging from chicken tenders and wings to flat bread pizzas and a number of main dishes like burgers, pulled pork sliders, salads and more. Bettors at the DraftKings Sportsbook at del Lago will have the ability to place a variety of wagers, including live/in-play bets at the five ticket windows or 23 self-service betting kiosks.

Currently, New York gaming regulations prohibit bets on amateur athletics for teams located in the state along with any amateur athletic events taking place in New York. Existing New York legislation restrict customers from using mobile devices to place wagers. Market Access Deal Positions DraftKings for Rapid U.S. Sportsbook Expansion

BOSTON (July 31, 2019) – DraftKings Inc. today announced an extension of its market access partnership with Penn National Gaming, Inc., which will enable the company to offer its mobile and online Sportsbook product in additional U.S. states, subject to passage of applicable laws and the parties securing necessary gaming licenses.

“With dozens of states having already legalized sports betting or poised to do so in the near future, this expanded partnership ensures DraftKings is positioned to quickly enter new markets,” said Ezra Kucharz, DraftKings chief business officer. “Penn National Gaming brings tremendous resources, people and experience to the partnership and, as we finalized the terms of the deal, it was abundantly clear there is a real synergy between our two companies that bodes very well for the future.”

The expansion builds upon the two companies’ earlier West Virginia market access deal, which was announced in December 2018. DraftKings’ additional market access is exclusive to Penn National Gaming across certain states in which Penn National Gaming operates casino properties.

Collaboration will boost experiences for sports fans seeking live and in-game wagering

BOSTON (July 25, 2019) – DraftKings Inc. announced today a multi-year agreement to become an Authorized Gaming Operator of Major League Baseball (MLB). The expanded partnership will enhance DraftKings’ wagering offerings, especially live and in-game options as real-time betting becomes increasingly popular during sports and entertainment events, by granting the company rights to use official MLB data along with MLB marks and logos within DraftKings sports betting products.

DraftKings named “Official Daily Fantasy Game” of the PGA TOUR

“PGA TOUR DraftKings Fantasy Golf” becomes TOUR’s first daily fantasy sports partner

PONTE VEDRA BEACH, FLORIDA, AND BOSTON – The PGA TOUR and DraftKings Inc. announced a new multi-year content and marketing relationship today that designates DraftKings as the first-ever “Official Daily Fantasy Game of the PGA TOUR.”

“We are excited to partner with DraftKings, an industry leader in innovation and fan engagement, in this groundbreaking step for the PGA TOUR,” said Luis Goicouria, PGA TOUR Senior Vice President Media. “The partnership with DraftKings provides the TOUR with a unique opportunity to innovate in a new industry and to further engage our fans.”

DraftKings will activate the partnership by branding its daily fantasy golf contests as “PGA TOUR DraftKings Fantasy Golf.” By playing these contests, fans will have the opportunity to win cash prizes as well as an array of PGA TOUR prizes in the future. The offerings include Classic contests where fans choose six players each week on the PGA TOUR for their fantasy team all while staying under the designated salary cap. Showdown contests are also available, which requires players to compile a team of six while staying under the designated salary cap for a single round of a tournament. Players have the option to compete with other PGA TOUR fans or in private, fully customizable contests with friends and colleagues. 

As part of the new relationship, PGA TOUR DraftKings Fantasy Golf players will have the ability to receive real-time video highlights for players in their respective lineups. Other elements of this partnership will create expanded Draft Fantasy Sports specific content offerings, as well as allow for brand integration into both the PGA TOUR and DraftKings platforms. Lastly, the PGA TOUR and DraftKings will collaborate on a variety of real-time product enhancements via the PGA TOUR’s proprietary ShotLink powered by CDW data feed.

In February 2019, the PGA TOUR changed its policy to allow Official Marketing Partnerships and title sponsorships with companies in the daily fantasy sports related category, which allowed the DraftKings relationship to come to fruition.

Data provided by DraftKings reflects the impact this category can have on fan engagement for the TOUR. For instance, golf is the fourth-most popular daily fantasy game on the DraftKings platform behind only the NFL, NBA and MLB. In fact, 30 percent of DraftKings’ entire customer base in excess of 11 million have played in at least one golf contest demonstrating the crossover appeal of the sport. Agreement Between Premier Casino and DraftKings Sets New Standard for Sports Betting in Mississippi

BOSTON (November 12, 2018) – DraftKings Inc. announced that it has reached an agreement with Scarlet Pearl Casino Resort in D’Iberville, Mississippi to officially open DraftKings at Scarlet Pearl Sportsbook, following receipt of license from the Mississippi Gaming Commission, among other required regulatory approvals. Opening November 16, 2018, the sportsbook will transform Scarlet Pearl’s existing PRL Bar into a multi-screen betting and social destination for sports lovers.

DraftKings Hires Sean Hurley as Head of Sportsbook

Experienced iGaming Executive to Oversee Sports Betting Operation

Boston, MA (February 26, 2018) – DraftKings, Inc. today announced Sean Hurley has been hired as the new Head of Sportsbook to help build, launch and drive the sports betting vertical at DraftKings. In this newly created role, Hurley will report to Chief Revenue Officer and co-founder, Matt Kalish.

“Sean brings a wealth of gaming experience to DraftKings and furthers our ability to be a leader in the sports betting market,” said Kalish.

Hurley will be based in DraftKings’ newly opened office in Hoboken, New Jersey. He will focus on preparing Sportsbook as a potential new line of business for DraftKings in anticipation of the pending Supreme Court decision in Christie v. National Collegiate Athletic Association.

Prior to joining DraftKings, Hurley gained extensive knowledge of the iGaming space with senior roles in both B2B and B2C companies. Most recently, Hurley led sales and commercial for Amelco, a sportsbook and trading platform supplier based in London.
