DraftKings Fantasy Live show marks a new endeavor in MSG Networks’ and DraftKings’ pre-existing relationship. “We are always looking for new ways to engage our fans around our live games,” said Kevin Marotta, senior vice president of marketing and content strategy, MSG Networks. “And with the popularity of daily fantasy sites as well as our ongoing partnership with DraftKings, we felt a big game like this was a perfect opportunity to bring something new to our viewers.”

The traditional Knicks telecast will air on the MSG Network as originally scheduled. MSG Networks’ Knicks pre- and postgame shows will be the same on both networks.

DraftKings Takes First Step In Offering Digital Streaming of Live Sports

EuroLeague Games To Be Seen In North America Via DraftKings App

Boston, MA – November 7, 2017 –  DraftKings, Inc., the ground-breaking sports-tech and media entertainment company, announced today it is testing the waters in the streaming of live sports through an expanded partnership with EuroLeague Basketball. Customers will be able to stream select Turkish Airlines EuroLeague basketball games directly through their DraftKings mobile app and seamlessly toggle between fantasy contests and live content.

This new streaming feature reinforces DraftKings’ commitment to delivering a comprehensive platform that combines the best of fantasy and live sports content. Today’s announcement – made by CEO Jason Robins at the Web Summit conference in Lisbon, Portugal – comes on the heels of a series of other milestones for the company, including: expanding into five new countries, introducing new Daily Fantasy Sport game variants, beefing up the executive team with new hires, and a significant investment in original content.

“Our goal is to become the one-stop destination and mobile companion for sports fans globally. Adding a live streaming component allows us to provide the best and most seamless product for our customers. This is what the future of sports looks like,” said Jason Robins, co-founder and CEO of DraftKings.

By the first quarter of 2018, DraftKings hopes to offer US and Canadian-based customers the opportunity to live-stream EuroLeague games on the DraftKings app. Customers will be able to stream one free game per week or watch multiple games by playing in a $3 and above DraftKings contest.  DraftKings will also create original content to support the EuroLeague product, enhancing the offering for fans.

“We are proud to be breaking new ground with such a forward-thinking partner as DraftKings,” said Jordi Bertomeu, EuroLeague Basketball President and CEO. “Combining fantasy with live-streamed games is a perfect match, not only for the countless passionate EuroLeague fans we have already, but for the many new ones who will now discover our unique brand of basketball through DraftKings.”

For the first time, EuroLeague contests will be available globally on DraftKings starting Tuesday, November 14, 2017.  Customers will be able to play the classic salary cap format basketball game by selecting 6 players according to the specified positions with the same scoring as the classic NBA game on DraftKings.  For more information on the EuroLeague games and to play visit: https://www.draftkings.com/lp/euroleague-how-to-play
